Rare hummingbird moth in flight.

This insect is a rare type of moth called a hummingbird moth. They look exactly akin to a hummingbird, are about the same size, hum like the bird does, and do not land to feed. I was fortunate enough to have it hold "still" long enough to pop off this photo, albeit a tad blurry. These insects rest their front legs on the flower while hovering in place to feed.
