Here is the same PT&T crew setting 50 foot cedar poles by hand in 1929. The terrain is 50/50 bedrock soil. The holes were dug by hand, rock was hand drilled and shot with dynamite. Each pole had 2-10 pin arms, with WT 154's in aqua or purple. The long distance line was in use from 1929 until the 1960's. Portions of the line were in use for local feeds until 1980.
