CD 267 - N.E.G.M. Insulator - A unique looking design and one heavy piece of glass! Embossed - N.E.G.M. CO. & PATENTED. JUNE .17.1890. Manufactured by the New England Glass Company - CD 267's were used to carry heavy electric power cables on an old trolley car line in Boston, Mass. This line was active till around the turn of the century and was taken down in the 1970's - 80's.
