I think its uncommon for this type piece to have such great amber. The color of this piece looks "steely light blue" to me, but I am no expert for sure. One thing I do know is that there is some KILLER amber in this piece. The piece is factory VNM. There is a child's thumb size impression on the dome area which appears to have been there from day one. There is an extra "chunk" of glass stuck on the outside of the dome just below the previously described depression. Also appearing as a day one character mark. Really is a beautiful piece.
