Portland National 123 EC&M Commemorative

This is one of the commemoratives Mark Lauckner of British Columbia produced. The 50 regular sets sold out prior to the show. At the Awards Banquet each table had one for a center piece. Some were the six colors in the regular set, then a few limited run colors like clear with blue amber, this dark cranberry purple color and a few other ones were on the tables. Howard asked two different people in the crowd what month they were born and what day. The person at each table born closest to that combined answer, won the EC&M and a hand spun pottery base made by Carol Blakely. My lucky night, as you see I was the table winner.
