Just as listed in the title, this piece is a rather atypical representation of everyone favourite Canadian insulator - the royal purple G.N.W. CD 145. Probably one of the most desired and appealing colours in the entire hobby, this abnormally short & slumpy example of the royal purple G.N.W. CD 145 would be one to do your shelf, window, or backyard pole proud, should you decide to invest in it! The piece is the [010] embossing, as the purple shades always are. The only issue with this piece are a couple of white wire groove flakes. The glass has not yet fallen out of the break areas, and calcium has leeched into the fracture, staining the chips white. There are three of these in total - one in the back, one on the right mould line, and one small one in the front. The flake in the front is on the upper wire ridge, measures 3/8" by 1/4", and is straight above the "N". The one in the rear is a double one - a flake running upwards and downwards into the upper and lower wire ridges. The upper branch measures 1" long by 1/2" tall. The lower measures 7/8" long by 1/2" tall. The last of the white flakes is on the wire ridge directly at the right mould line. It is a "double", as well. The upper branch runs 7/8" long by 1/2" tall, and the bottom branch is equal in dimension. Overall, it's actually a very good example of a purple for someone who doesn't have one, and doesn't want to blow $90 for a mint condition example of a piece that really isn't that rare. I'm asking $25.00 U.S. plus shipping for this wonderful Canadian colourbomb. I accept personal cheques from any member of ICON, or anyone I've dealt with before. Please feel free to email me with any questions, or for more photos. Also, please check out my "unsold" stock in the "Not Sold" folder, and combine multiple purchases to save shipping! All the best! |
