I just picked up these two insulators. The LIMA reportedly came from the Rome Power House just outside of Nevada City, California. A line went from the power house to Alleghany. I followed this line when I was a kid, lots of broken gutter tops. The 4600 looks like it was bolted to the substation, it has a big heavy pin. It has roughly 13 rings on the underside of the top shell. A couple of years ago I talked to the guy that found this gem, he described the work required to carry it out of the canyon. He wasn't kidding, the peg must weigh as much as the insulator. The smaller insulator is marked Thomas on the crown. There is still good stuff to be found, I guess I live in the right area.
