Not long ago this interesting wooden pin was found. The threads were not of standard size not did they fit any of the other small thread sized insulators. There was much input regarding the purpose of this pin with the odd threading. During the Portland National it appears that the mystery was solved. Gary Michener showed up with a CD 187 Brown's Pony insulator with the 5/8" dia. pinhole. The pin fit perfectly! The insulator and pin are now together and doing very well.
