The Tillamook steam electric generating plant built by the Coast Power Co. The plant was capable of burning wood or oil but burned "slabwood" which was waste wood from the many lumber mills nearby. This photo was taken by Mountain States Power Co., CPC's successor after 1927. The plant was gone by the mid 1960's as better power interconnects were installed.
