A (poor)1923 photo of the Coast Power Company "Electric Store" located right next to the CPC office bldg. The company sold every type of electrical apparatus and appliance for home use and also wired new home installations, unlike most of today's utilities. CPC was managed by the same Clarence Edwards who owned the Yamhill Electric Co. in Newberg, OR. Both companies were later sold out to larger holding companies before the Great Depression. Note the electric range on Queen Anne style legs...to match the Queen Anne furniture in the dining room, perhaps? I would think so.
