Another dandy piece you rarely see. Hemingray's second generation pony. This one is made from a modified 124.1 mould and still sports the large lettering associated with that CD. Dates from 1873-5 ? Color is an off-clear, leaning into an ice green. No real damage beyond a clean chipping / flaking to a little over half of the rough overpoured base that is common to these. The most intrusive part is shown, and as you can see, it does not effect its stance or display. Base damage on these is much like EC&M's .... you can pretty much expect a rough edge. Other than that, it is a really thick and heavy example with big dome glass and threading to the base. Real clean (untumbled) surface is bright and shiney too. An outstanding example of a rarely seen piece. $215 post paid US/Canada
