Real photo from a high vantage point taken not long after a flood swept through this town. Lots of detail can be seen in backyards, etc., after the clean up. Also note the very tall telephone and telegraph lines in the foreground. Maybe they had to be rebuilt after the flood... or more likely they held their own during the disaster ;-)
