You just gotta love arriving thru the north gate of the ranch with big shade trees covering the long entrance drive thru acres of refuge area with lakes, birds and all kinds wildlife and domestic critters running around. The 2 mile drive back to the museum takes you thru pastures of grazing cows and across the Animas river on an old rail road bridge that Tommy had hauled in years ago, in memory of his mother. As you near the museum buildings the last 500 yards or so are lined with these neat old farm implements, several which were used on the ranch years ago. The following pics are just a few of the ones that remind of us the great time we had. Thanks to all that came. Dan. |
