When ever I thought of the world old fashion telephone pole the poles along the James River line were what first came to mind. When I first started insulator hunting I did my first hunt along it and found about 20 glass insulators laying on a pole that must have fallen about 30 years ago. Now all of it is going to fall to the saw. Now I'm on a mission to save as many of the old insulators as I can.

On this hunt I got over 170 insulators some of them which were very strange such as a Gayner-44, A Brookfield with four dates saying 1883 along with a Calvert.
