This is the last resting place of the James River telegraph poles who have been though many superstorms, mega floods and killer Ice Stroms along the James River. CSX about a few weeks ago got a new train running system and the poles are now in the way and must be removed. I plan to make a youtube video about the life and death of the telegraph poles along the James River.
