Book is copyright dated 1945,this is a 223 page hardbound book with many different photos of hundreds of different steamer trains from the late 1800's to early 1900-30's,plus photos of early caboose types, etc...This is not only a photo gallery book but has histories of specific trains and railways plus some nice background photos of poles and insulators. All pages are in excellent, non faded condition with no rips, tears or dog ears, spine of book is excellent as is the original cover. The clear topcoat on the cover is alligatored in the corners as seen, but no tears or rips.
