When the "Orange Line" overhead transit railway in Boston was being dismantled in 1989 I got to see a quantity of the insulators used on this line, specifically CD 267s and CD 267.5's. The vast majority of these were cracked, chipped and otherwise of reduced collector value. There was one short section that had a handful of dark yellow-green CD 267 NEGM's and I'm assuming these all came from the same barrell/production run. Near this location were *even fewer* of these were found in medium green...what I call "minty green". In order to give you some color comparison, the "minty green" example is on the left and a dark yellow-green NEGM is on the right. The "minty green" insulator is mint also! The only sign of wear is a very slight amount of dullness in the saddle and on the base rim. The rest looks perfect to me! This insulator has been in my collection since its acquiition in 1989 (after 90 years of service!) and now is proudly offered for sale for $525 shipping and insurance included to your US destination. I have seen very few others in this color for sale and these had damage. A must for any "cable" insulator collector! PRICE REDUCED TO $425.00 Priority shipped anywhere in the U.S. I very likely will be offering a couple more cool and unique CD 267s straight from my collection so stay tuned! Thanks!
