CD 145 CREB with what I suspect is a piece of nail was embedded in the thinner skirt glass of the insulator, close to the surface and apparently expanded or contracted causing the glass to chip away around the nail piece exposing it to the touch yet keeping it firmly lodged in place. From the looks of the area, this glass popped off a great many years ago while still in service. Inside the glass on the other side of the dome is a cool milky zig zag design of goop. Crown embossing is very crisp and readable and dometop is embossed with double sevens. Damage as listed aside from the glass chipped away from the nail.2 tiny domeside pecks, a shallow, small flake on the edge of WG at mouldline and a bit of rust in the wire groove. $38 + actual shipping. |
