I've got a very unique piece of insulator artwork available for purchase this evening! Up for grabs is a hand-painted white cotton T-shirt, extra large in size, created by none other than my own mother.

My mother, Hilary Jennifer Stares Nicpon, began painting when she was just younger than 10 years old, and since then, over 50 years later, it has become quite the passion, a lifestyle, and her portfolio, as well as her skill with shading, proper medium usage, and general technique, has increased dramatically! She has become immensely popular in our area, and her works tend to sell very well. She hasn't proliferated into the world of the internet with her work yet, but that is a work in progress!

This shirt shows three CREB CD 145s in a still-life arrangement. Amber-swirled aqua or yellow green on the left, aqua in the centre, and a smokey Brookfield purple on the right, with original iron tie wire still attached.

Why not invest in a solid piece of original artwork, and have something nice to show off at the next big insulator show! I guarentee there aren't too many hand-painted insulator T-shirts out there! Oh, and she is considering taking commissions if this piece sells well - email me if you have any particular requests for something to be painted on a T-shirt like this, as well as the size you wear, and hopefully we can work out a price!

She's asking $45.00 U.S. plus shipping for this original artwork! The colours are vibrant and the fabric comfortable. It washes easily on a gentle cycle without bleach. She accepts personal cheques from any member of ICON, or anyone I've dealt with before. Please feel free to email with any questions, or for more photos! All the best!

This one sold within 10 minutes! That means she's seriously considering doing commissions! If you'd like a work of art on a T-shirt, email me with the size you'd like, and a photograph of the piece(s), or at least an idea of what you'd like on it!
