I got these pair of original caps on a Kretzer rod I bought several years ago, no LRB but the caps were left on the rod so I can only surmise that the ball met it's doom by a hailstone, bullet or some other errant missile leaving the caps behind. Anyhoo...no embossing on the caps and both are in VGC for their age. These are for the wide opening LRB's and spiral iron rods. Need original replacements for your ball and rod? Look no further.
