Tonight I am offering a very rare W Brookfield glass insulator that you will almost never find leaving collections once found. These are called an O'Brien Patent and due to the extremely delicate arms are almost always damaged. This one has damage to the one arm which is shown, there's a shallow base chip on the edge of the base which is shown to the right under NY, on the dometop there is a tiny stone that popped leaving a flat bruise on the top and several pecks around the wire groove. I will also note that there are some pecks and light contact marks on the WG ridge. Insulator displays extremely well despite the listed damage and could very easily be repaired on the arm and small base chip to display almost mint. Embossing is W. BROOKFIELD N.Y. (R skirt) PAT. APRIL 28 1885. I have LOTS more photos available of this insulator at your request. Please email me if you would like more photos. First mail to me... $2,150 shipped anywhere. I have reduced this to $1,700 shipped in USA/CANADA. Other countries I will assist with shipping.
