Odd Fred Locke cable U-939f

This insulator has a standard 1" pinhole .All were found in dump digs in Victor. My best guess as to it's use would be that it was intended to be used for dead ending or corner turns on large DC interurban or subway feeder cables. None have been reported to have seen service on active lines. At this time three brown ones and two white ones of these exist, all marked with Fred Locke incuse markings
