Very nice early W.E. MFG. CO. glass straightside insulator. This is a very nice lime green with some light milk swirls overtop the pinhole and dome. Pinhole is way offset and cocked to one side causing the inner skirt at the base to be underpoured some. I believe these were manufactured by Hemingray as it has the Dec 19 1871 patent date on the front skirt. Rear dome is W.U. / skirt is B.Insulator does have a shallow fingernail sized chip on the lower wiregroove lip corner caused by the wire rubbing and moving, it's thin and rounded, also there is a paper thin razor flake off the resting edge of the base and a tiny BB ding on the WG lip edge. I would call this a solid lime green and not a light lime. Colour is accurate in the photo. Book for lime green is $75-$100.More pix on your req. First mail to me... $58 + actual shipping. |
