This PGE (Portland General Electric Co.) pole is an older 12.5kV. installation with ordinary U-6xx bowl type insulators except the one on the front left. This one catches my eye from the road! The glaze color is a lighter brown mud not unlike a Fred Locke mud job. But, is it really? It could be a no-name, a New Lex, an O-B, a Lima, or what? I like to fantasize about it but it's probably nothing special.....or is it? Note the suspension dead-end wire "loop back" hardware. I don't see these in use anymore either.
