A pole in Sandlake, Oregon on the Tillamook P.U.D. with an old transformer painted Safety Yellow. This was one where I had to "hit the brakes" because I thought the yellow xfmrs. were long gone! In the days before the ho-hum millions of "blue can" transformers, this utility used to paint the cans yellow....something I never saw on any other power utility. Nice to see it still in use although it's a little faded and weathered since it's a half-mile from the ocean.
