This is from a series of telephone trucks that were made by Miley`s Inc of Marion, Ohio. I believe they were made in the late 1970s or early 1980s. This is a replica of a 1920s cast iron Mack toy truck. I`m sure that the truck origianally had two ladders mounted on the racks. The truck is painted in the Bell System olive green and lettered THE BELL TELEPHONE COMPANY. Has all the character of an antique toy truck but at a fraction of the cost. Because the ladders are missing, I`ve priced this old timer at $15 plus actual shipping.
