This is a Chance U-425A that Steve McCollum rescued from a Wisconsin utility. Steve recently sent me one after I saw his photo on ICON of a pole using them with the wires somehow pulled off. I have never seen one in use before in my corner of the USA, so I just had to have one! They are heavier than I thought and the style looks very similar to a design used many years before it. The base is solid thick porcelain and the pin hole is radio treated.
