The previous owner of this good looking piece saw a two tone effect. I guess you can see a bit of difference in color between the ears down to the skirt. There is green-aqua color in the skirt that might deminish a bit in the ears...anyway it is a CD 253 and strongly embossed KNOWLES CABLE over INSULATOR over "PATENTED. JUNE. 17. 1890" On the base (rear side) there is shallow 3/8" chip and a1/4' sliver chip continuing from the first described chip.
