This is a model of a Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Co. 1949 Chevrolet panel truck. It has been suggested that it is the same type of truck that Denny Hackthorne drove in his early days at Pac Tel, as he started to amaze his 2000 piece insulator collection (non of it on company time). This model is all metal and finely detailed. It was made in the early 1990s by a company called First Gear. It is in beautiful condition. There is a spot for a side view mirror but there is none on this model. Finished in the Bell System olive green with black fenders. There are Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Bell System logos on the two side doors and also the rear door. A neat telephone go-with for $20 plus actual shipping.
