The chirping of robins, free daffodils being handed out on every street corner, and the melodious voices of people singing Christmas songs?

I don't know about the rest of the country, but it's never snowed on the first day of spring in downtown Seattle before. Our high of 36° made it the coldest 1st day of spring ever recorded here.
