I got these from Mike and Deb Reed Fowler last fall while we were at the show and I thought that they were just too unique and cool not to show. These are 2 types of iron ore pellets usually carried by trains for ballast and also for smelting into iron and steel. I usually find coffee cans full of these on the tracks by my house and they make excellent slingshot ammo and devastating anti personnel shrapnel for improvised munitions, but I have never found them conglomerated like this before. Most cool whimsy paperweight!
