CD 252 [030] Knowles embossed KNOWLES / NO 2 CABLE / PATENTED JUNE 17, 1890. Both sides of this piece have nice strong embossing. Standout olive amber layers in the ears as can be seen in the picture. What is hard to detect in this picture is a good size dark olive green ameoba slightly to the left of the PA in PATENT. Rough estimation with a ruler is 5/8" long by 1/4" wide. I'll send you a picture if you'd like a better view. There are 3 small pencil tip flea bites and a faint small white circle at the neck all on the KNOWLES side. I have seen and handled a number of these CD 252 Knowles and I think the condition and embossing strength and clarity exceeds most. Nice character piece and sure to please. - SOLD for $65.00
