In this sale is a scarce Hemingray toll insulator. This one is a smooth based style but has the May 2 1893 patent date for drip points. These are a scarce embossing style for Hemingray because they were not supposed to have the patent date embossed on a non drip pointed insulator! Whoops! Someone made a bad call or they didn't have the proper rear skirt mould half. The colour is a rich Hemingray blue which makes it that much more tough to find.
