Two unusual blobtops for sale here, the dark one is skirt embossed W. BROOKFIELD/NEW YORK, just about perfect, one small surface nick, $10. Second one is an unembossed Brookfield unit, probably extremely early production, before they had time to emboss the mold, because the mold line over the dome shows a very tight, small seam from the mold, indicative of a new mold and early mold state. Also, this has the swirl start threads seen on nearly all the 55 Fulton Street units of the late 1860's till 1882. This one is also about as close to mint as you would find.
