Close up of barbed-wire lightening protection here, up on an oak support. This was one of the tenth poles, which had the heavy copper lead from the barbed wire, leading down the pole to ground. Also note the U-925 on the oak side-pin. It's nothing short of amazing that all this wood has survived for nearly 110 years.
