While a CD 124 1871 Patent isn't so unusual, one of these early smooth base units is ! Probably not in production for very long before the drip patent came along, these exhibit the typical colors found in HG Petticoat beehives. This one is a pretty soft yellow-green color, with nice, thick glass that is slumped to one side, giving it a good lean. Condition is close to factory perfect too, with only a few annealing lines and a "kiss" on the wire ridge. Hard to find in any condition, you won't be disappointed with this one. $85 + postage |
