Just a super piece. Early embossing style. I believe this is known as "New Script". Color is a hard to describe "clambroth" almost clear with a slight silver-grey cast that looks kind of purple in the dome in refracted light. Condition is close to flawless, with only a couple cleanly nicked drips and some slight roughness along the mould edges typical to these. Doubtful a nicer one exists. Another from my collection. Book is something like $1200 - $ 1500.
