I don't care how long a person has been collecting or how many shows we go to, I can't help but believe that the 1st sight of that show, tailgater or get together doesn't get the heart beating a bit faster and get the adrenalin kicked up a notch with anticipation of a new adventure and possibly that nice piece of glass, porcelain, go-with or something is here, just waiting for you to discover it. My 1st thought is to skip all the conversation and just cruise the tables in search of that elusive piece before someone else gets to it. Well, as is always the case, I soon rediscover that it's those conversations that attract me to the hobby as much as the glass. And before I know it, it's halfway thru the show and I'm only halfway thru the tables. It's this kind of experience that truly makes this hobby a great one to be part of. I didn't seem to get a many pics as I usually do, but hope you enjoy the ones I have posted. Any comments or feedback is welcomed. Good collecting to you all and hope to see you at the Portland National or any other get-together I can get too in 2008. (photo is of Kevin Jacobson taking a few early morning show beginning pics)
