Unlike the Hemingray 40's I posted a few weeks ago I'd say this is a real embossing error and not just sloppy work at the Hemingray Glass Works. As you see from the pic it looks like an 8 with its two joining circles filled in where the E of PETTICOAT should be. I discovered I had this insulator while cataloging my many insulator recently. For some reason it looks familar to me. Either I seen another like it posted someplace here or I traded a friend for it.
