I think the color of the strongly embossed CD 162 Brookfield really stands out. I think it is an apple green or maybe a lime green. It is dome embossed W. BROOKFIELD over NEW YORK. The skirt is embossed PAT. FEB.12th 1884. There are two pea size bubbles, one above the wire groove and the other just below the wire groove. Both nicely located in the embossing area. (should have gotten a better picture showing the bubbles). There is an inner skirt chip about an inch long, half moon shaped. Also a tiny rough spot on the wire groove at the left side mold line. $70 plus actual shipping cost. |
