Went for a road trip on 2/19/08 in SE Washington state. The weather was cold (for the desert) at about 23 degrees F and there was plenty of fog to make it interesting driving. Well....the afternoon brought sunshine. Thought that I would check out my deer hunting area. Wanted to see about making some new ground blinds and look at some old poles that were near the ground blind that I used this last September. I discovered that all of the poles that I wanted to check out had washed away. The "river" is only about 3 inches deep in September. Today the river was about 3 feet deep. Here is a picture of where my ground blind is usually located....it is NOT a picture of the river. No wonder the area is so lush in the Fall......hope you enjoy it. |
