Some friends went on a nature tour of Argentina a couple of years ago. In buying souvenirs for the folks back home they found two insulators. One was a Hemi 42 and the other was this 'mudder.' I have seen only one photo with this type of foreign insulator in a group photo somewhere in this picture gallery, but there was no specific information on this specific insulator.

It is 4 1/4 high by 3 1/2 in diameter with a narrow (5/8-3/4 diameter) threaded pin hole and a single petticoat. It has an off white uniform glaze with even the underside of the skirt being glazed. The glazing on the bottom of the skirt has a roughness from sitting on the glazing shelf. The only marking on this one is an incused SILVERTOWN stamp all in capitals.

Any information is appreciated.
