This is the only set of these advertisement shakers I've ever seen. They are genuine salt and pepper shakers made with fine porcelain, gold glazed, 3 tiny firing rests on each base and original burnt red color rubber seals that are typically found on early vintage shakers. They are in VNM++ shape with no chips or cracks and only a few teeny glaze flaws (w/tiny parts of gold missing). Close to the same size as the actual glass Surge insulators.

I recently asked ICON if anyone had seen or heard of these before and one reply said he'd seen similar miniature porcelain insulators made by a collector in the 1960s but he'd never seen this particular example. I could find no record of any on the internet. Got them from an Eastern US antique dealer. Heard 2 reports of seeing miniature EC&M insulator shape porcelain shaker sets in the 1970s but nobody has reported seeing a SURGE set before.
