First I have to give credit to Chris McC. I'm using his word "sugar" to describe the bits of unmelted sand that are scattered throughout the glass of this insulator. I wish I had thought of sugar, it's the perfect word. That said, I'm offering one of my favorites, a Brookfield CD 126 MLOD blobtop in the [350] embossing index that has three patent dates. There's something about the feel of this heavy chunk of glass but the best part is the character. In the picture you'll see a blob of unmelted sand "spit" that looks like this insulator has a belly button. Then sprinkled around is some sugar and a few tiny champagne bubbles. Condition: This blobtop has seen some use. It has about 5 BB impacts that took out a tiny amount of glass and left a small fisheye. Other than that this insulator looks great. I'm more interested in freeing up display space than money so I'm willing to sell this for the $6.00 I paid for it plus actual shipping. And to be fair the first person to contact me with an honest interest will get to add this blobby belly button beauty to their collection. Thanks in advance. Howard |
