I had a big smile on my face when I found this sitting on a dusty antique store shelf outside of Nashville. Here we have a 2 quart Aqua glass fruit jar embossed "-ATLAS- STRONG SHOULDER MASON". What makes this so desireable are the heavy amber swirls throughout the jar, but especially visible between the embossing and swirling on the base! Excellent condition too with only a fleabite size flake inside the inner rim and a fleabite size popped bubble on a thread. Otherwise there is only minor surface scuff marks from many years of enjoyment storing fruit in someone's basement or cellar. Heavy surface "whittle" marks all around the embossing area adds nicely to its texture (something enthusiasts look for in old jars). For a close-up shot [id=206586458].
