No one here is quite sure how we came to have these things around. We suspect they might have come from an insulator sent in unsterilized packing, but it wasn't until after several weeks of the empty box sitting in the shop that I noticed these small spiderlike critters crawling out of the styrofoam peanuts. The county inspector guy was quite alarmed and took several for analysis. However, he did not see all the Mercury we spilled on the ground, .... but that is another story. Anyway, here is one that looks to be full grown. We have named them "Bleens" after my Dad's pet Ghoul Monkey. They breed rapidly and lay eggs in a sticky gel kind of stuff, but don't seem to bite. As yet, no one has seen them eat anything (????) |
