Somebody at ICON said recently that all the best insulators found during a hunt are more then likely in pieces. That seems to me the case of my latest hunt in the cold. At least the snow wasn't too deep where it was. The CD 138 Postal Tel here was base up and sticking out of that snow. The one on the right is another AM Insulator find for me. This is the one that I wrote the first sentence of this discription. It's a CD 145 that is base embossed with two patent dates. It's either an Green Aqua or some other shade of green. The CD 138 only the second I've been able to find in my area. Both I've found have different embossing. One has the large embossing of Postal Tel. Co. and the other the small embossing. Turns out that the AM is a green. In the spring I will be digging to see if I can find any more of this one. Who knows? There may be a mint copy of this one in that frozen didge! |
