On one of our collecting trips, we had guests drop in for breakfast. These are ground squirrels, and while quite tame, are not to be handled. They ate all the toast with peanut butter on it first, then ate what was left. At times, we had as many as 8 of these guys up on the table. We finished our breakfast standing, and let them use the table.
