The Springfield Convention and Visitors Bureau sponsors this award to be given out at the Mid-Ohio show, as seen fit by the show hosts. They have elected to give out the award for the "Most Educational Display"

The award is very impressive and stands just about a foot tall. Hand made by Fred Wilkerson, Jr. The base is also glass with a carnivalized coating. Although you can attach the base to the top with some fancy glass work, Fred actually finds it easier, stronger, and safer to use some of that UV curing glue to attach the pieces together!
