One out of only 500 of these tough little private issue pieces made, this one is a deep ruby red with light milky whisps and veils in the glass. These were made back in the 1970's as giveaways for a phone company and are actual size, dimentions, and threaded like a normal 102 pony to fit an American pin. Very far and few in between makes these highly coveted by collectors who want an actual red glass insulator that is not altered or stained yet is accepted into the hobby by the NIA.There were never intended for actual service.
